The updated Synoptic Breast Imaging Report (SBIR) is a lesion-based structured report that uses the standardised lexicon of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Breast Imaging-Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS ®)(1) to communicate a patient’s breast imaging results to the referrer.
